Reading books increases your knowledge, builds vocabulary, and improves spelling and writing skills. The school library plays a vital role in inculcating reading habits among the students. In Advaith, we have a huge library which is a storehouse of knowledge. The purpose of our school library is to help every member of our school community- students and staff- enriching new skills and disposition for learning and personal development that they will use throughout their lives. The habit of reading books apart from the course books helps students to perform better during assessments. The library period is a part of our daily class time-table. It’s an hour’s period for all the grades. The library period helps students in choosing correct books according to their age and interest along with guiding them further with follow-up activities in the form of poster making, narration, synopsis writing, books review etc., based on their reading. Exposure to a variety of books at a young age helps students to become eloquent conversationalist.

The goal of Advaith’s library is to develop information literate students who are responsible and ethical participants in society.
